Changes to the 2025 Junior Competition

For the 2025 Junior Competition season we have made some changes in line with the feedback received from the survey conducted after last year’s competition.

These changes include:

· Competitive grades U11, U13 and U15 will be split into three grades rather than two grades. This is to ensure teams play against teams on a similar skill level.

· Games times will be changed to accommodate more teams especially in the under 7s and under 9s divisions. Game times will now be:

4pm – Under 7s / under 9s

4:35pm – under 9s / under 15s

5:10pm – under 11s

5:45pm – under 13s

· ‘Playing up’ in the Junior Competition will be permitted from the 2025 season for junior players to play up an age division to play with their school friends. This will be for under 9s, under 11s, under 13s and under 15s only. This is for players born 1 January – 30 June only.

· We are making it possible to purchase playing shorts at the time of registration. These will then be available for collection at the same time as the singlets.
